What to do next

Taking that first step in getting support can be hard.  I respect this and am not here to judge your situation but to work with you to support you.  I understand that discovering your young person has an unhealthy mental health can feel quite overwhelming and upsetting. I am a professional, experienced and well respected young people counsellor and also a mother of 3 young people. Common questions Q. How do I spot the signs of an unhealthy mental health/self harm? Q. Am I helping or making it worse? Q. Is it my fault? Q. Why me? Q. Will it go away? Research suggests that 1 in 15 young people are affected by self harming behaviours.  If you feel you would benefit by sharing your experience please give me a call to discuss your circumstances and book an appointment.
